Perry did a new version recently but I have no idea how different it's from his older version of this from a few years back. But some of the key points are the following:
People will buy from you if it raises their status and not buy from you if it lowers their status.
The more things they have to believe the less likely they will buy from you. So give them only one thing to believe it to be true to make the sale more easily.
His 5 step sales system is.
1. The Cheese and Whiskers Lead Magnet
2. The tripwire offer (a low ticket front end offer)
3. The core offer (the main thing you wanted to sale)
4. The profit maximizer (The upsell offer to help off set ad cost and bump your average order value)
5. The Return path (the backend and keeps them spending more money with you)
