You are right without the action scripts this share is pointless and they are not in the downloads

There are no action scripts with V3.
They use templates with smart objects to get sharper results compared to V2.

Here's a quick solution. Go to file/automate/contact sheet. You'll have to choose the individual folder, then give Photoshop a few and you'll have one image with all the PSDs viewable. I did mine at 300 dpi so I could zoom in.
