Years ago there was an exact same tool named FONSpy (Freak of Nature Spy) that does the same thing. So I think this is simply FONSpy rehashed/renamed.
It doesn't work 100% now as it used to because GetResponse and Aweber have changed their Archive URLs, so new ones are no longer "indexed" in search engines.
There's nothing special about it. Even before when it was still FONSpy, it doesn't reveal every mail related to a topic, it just depends on whether or not the mails are already indexed.
