I tried your new method, there was no such directory in programdata, so I created it and made a keyfile.dat with a random number in it. I installed it, replaced the file with the crack one, and ran it. Still says you need to purchase to use advanced features.

it's working fine for me :S
Try this steps, please (ensure you copy cracked version of the .exe in destination folder)
- Execute the program and go to HELP->ACTIVATE and enter any text (11111111, for example)
- Restart the software

Hi, did you copy the .exe file in the CRACK folder to the destination folder before you enter the license?

Review: after pasting the patch to the folder and entering the serial I get a message "please close and reload the program to changes take effect" so i restart the program but nothing happens, remains unactivated.
i tried it and it did not work.
I copied the patch to the destination folder then clicked help and activate, typed 11111111 and it did not work

Could you try running as administrator?
Be sure to copy only the .EXE that is inside the PATCH folder, not the folder itself.
It's strange, because it works for me and other users :S
