I have a question regarding Mega website.

I keep on hitting the Free Transfer Quota Exceeded message asks me to upgrade to paid premium version.

What do you do,is there a trick or you just pay a monthly fee?

Open another account.With a new name, email account etc.
In another browser. You will get 50 more GB.

Try a VPN plugin like Hoxx for your browser if it doesn't work otherwise. [To change your IP address]

This trick works.

Just reset your router, this works so well.

What I did was I downloaded this "megadownloader" followed a youtube training and now when I copy a mega link it POPS up in the "Megadownloader" and downloads it directly to drive (you set up)

skips MEGA 100%

I downloaded about 100GBS I was being help up on because of the same issue you said,

megadownloader works.
you only have to open the grabber. [+ button]

Ipony works works as well or even better.

But just in case you want to import a few links that may get deleted otherwise, try the other trick.

I also keep running into same issue, however as shared by actionguy, i keep rebooting my router to get a new ip after 3gb transfer limit.

One thing which i have observed over time is, you should exit out of megasync app instead of logging out to continue with the download with new ip, Before restarting your router exit out of app and post restart , simply restart the app and download will continue.

Have also observed that when i logoff, mostly of a new download thread is started instead of continuing on the partly downloaded file, resulting in bandwidth and time wastage, expensive resources over metered connection.

As a practice i either put up one large file or part of download at a time. or a folder with lots of smaller pieces to limit bandwidth wastage over metered connection. Also i clean up sync folder after every logout to keep my disk clean.

If u didn't have a account u will get free 1gb download traffic. Just create a account and login than download.don't need import to yr account.after login u get free 10gb download limit .after u hit 10gb need wait around 4-5 hrs or just create another account and login again.

If u didn't have a account u will get free 1gb download traffic. Just create a account and login than download.don't need import to yr account.after login u get free 10gb download limit .after u hit 10gb need wait around 4-5 hrs or just create another account and login again.

saintjohnny, is 10gb quota location specific, after rebooting i always get 3gb. any thoughts on that, i have tried removing cookies too.

Here is the permanent solution, I use it for all my accounts. Air Explorer allows you to sync all your file sharing accounts in one place, and download (and clean up) your mega account. I had the problem that It would get stuck on downloads. Now just import to your account, use air explorer, and download from there, without getting stuck!
