Yes, slow down the frequency as much as possible.
There is no definitive answer on settings as we don't know what triggers Twitter to flag an account.
Your aim is to make the account look like it is managed by a human and not automated by a script/robot.
So let it age with constant human-like activity.
After 1-2 month if everything is ok you can gradually increase the frequency of activity.
This is no magic bullet. You will not have an account with thousands of followers in a week.
But if used right, in time you'll have an account with thousands targeted followers that will continuously increase
with little to no intervention from your part.
