There are other posts that goes into greater detail on how to by-pass the activation. This post doesn't give any specifics and or details on the process to make your offline activation perminent... I am guessing this poster didn't try Camtasia for a specific amount of time because they would have been prompted with a trial message. Check out the other posts that go into more details so you don't get the activation screen any longer.

Found the reg.ini file and put the license key and now it worked without an error message. (from the other post, user Shiffu)

download and replace RegInfo.ini here
C:\ProgramData\TechSmith\Camtasia Studio 9
and use the key in reginfo file
and Done

Is it 9.XX is 64 bit version.
