I tried it out and the voice quality is very good. You will get some mispronunciations but when that happens, you will need to write the word phonetically (the way it is pronounced). Just as an example, the voice pronounces the word "gradeschool" with emphasis on the word school. You can correct this somewhat by capitalizing the word "grade" and writing it the way it is pronounced "grayd."

For most people, the free account is all you need. You can create unlimited 1 minute recordings and piece them together. But the priced plans are very affordable, if you find this application works for your needs.

@wesley3: You will need to visit the sign-up page to find the answer to your question. I don't see why you couldn't download your audio file once it has finished.

I hurried to share this when I found it so I included the sign-up page where any questions you may have should be answered.
