You guys should know better if you have been here awhile. If you are a noob, you have been (and are being) warned about this loser.
Landro was a cop at one time and he tried to do the things he professes to be expert at and coaches now.
Fact: He couldn't make it in offline tech and Internet sales - especially in the hardcore New York market - all bullshit aside.
Fact: When he went online, he first tried to make a name selling software in the WF. I think some of that old crap may be around here somewhere. It was laughable stuff - mostly scrapers that never worked or only worked for a short time.
Fact: He fell flat on his face initially because he had shit for software and refunds busted his fat ass.
Fact: He never does ANYTHING he puts in his courses. ALL of it is conjecture and things that MIGHT work in his own warped mind.
Fact: All of the WF (glowing) testimonials are bought and paid for, which is a common practice and has been for a while. Any legitimate success stories are fabrications or complete accidents.
Fact: Landro makes ALL of his income teaching and coaching people to do things he has NEVER done or NEVER been a success at doing himself.
Fact: Go to this URL:
Fact: After you scroll through all the pages of bullshit courses he makes his living selling, you decide. Is he full of shit or does he have game? (This is how I check any wannabe "expert" or "guru" out.)
If you think he really has game, go buy his crap. That is how this reject makes money - selling to noobs and wannabes dying to get his shit!
Here's the question to ask yourself if you bother to read the salesletter: If he has such a golden path as he promises in the sales crap for this to take you to seven figures, why is he bothering to share those methods with noobs and wannabe IMers - for $27?
A: Wouldn't you duplicate your own efforts to create more "million dollar" ways to make even more millions with your system - as an upsell?
He sure as hell wouldn't be wasting his time with $27 BSOs to noobs. That would be a waste of perfectly good energy.
Got it, noobs and old dogs?!
I agree with your points above. I bought the product because it was requested and am always curious to see what emails people are sending for cold emailing. I would never use them myself. What this shows instead is what not to use.
I went through the templates and there are terrible. I wouldn't buy from someone who sent me these emails.
What is interesting is that most internet gurus are good at selling products and have no clue what really works in the real world.
The difference between him selling $27 product or a guru selling his product for $1997 is positioning because I have bought products that cost $1997 and more and there are also so bad.
At the moment in the internet marketing world, it's the wild wild west. That's why there are so many coaches, experts, consultants from everywhere because most of these people are selling the dream.
For the girls, it's making sure they have beautiful looking websites and sexy photos of themselves and promising the dream and for the guys it's always the bikes, cars, houses, jets and yachts.
Don't get me wrong there are people who are actually doing what they are selling.
Remember the days of one-click software to make you millions with just a click of a button in your pjs or the Google loopholes? 99% of the gurus have disappeared from the surface of the IM world.
Now, it's all about the hacks, authenticity, Facebook Ads, conversion rate, online courses. And of course the gurus have got smarter by associating themselves with respectable people like Oprah, Richard Branson or being featured on sites like HuffPost, FastCompany (keeping in mind now one can pay to be featured on these sites), etc.
And continue to still sell crap which people fall for. Though we must remember that people get smarter with time and stop responding to these at some point like those days when everyone bought courses teaching to make millions on Ebay, blah blah.
I like GaryVee because the guy is very smart. At the moment if you observe what he is doing is building a loyal following and when the time comes, I think he will come out with a physical product like trainers or whatever. While still running his social media business.
The so called gurus can learn a lot from him.
I always wonder why most good courses shared on here, never get any comments, it's always the ones that promise the moon, that do. But this shows that anyone can make money if they put their minds to it.
99% of the people will be in the same position there are in today, three years from now because most people can't be disciplined and focused enough to work smart like crazy until they achieve what they want.
So, instead of watching Game of Thrones, they could be hustling on whatever dream they want to achieve.
This also applies to people in relationships, always complaining about how bad their so called partners are instead of actually doing something about it but instead they are happy just complaining. And when one asks, how long they have been with their partners, some say "3, 5, 7 9, 11, 15, 20 years" hmm...people would rather have a not so good relationship than being alone.
Recently, I watched some really good webiner from guys who do what they say they do and no they weren't selling anything. There were doing live optimization of websites with their owners. And there even showed the changes they had made to their own and their client's sites.
Everyone was super excited. So, I did the A/B testing on one site and am seeing crazy conversions, doing what they showed but I thought to go and check out all the sites that were reviewed live on the webinar if the owners made the changes recommended. Remember these owners raised their hands and said that they needed help because they were losing money.
Guess what I found? No one had made any changes recommended at all. I checked archived pages and nothing.
It hit me that 99% of people never take any action, even if the information could change their lives because it's too much hard work.
And if people actually took action on what the gurus sold, most of them would be out of business. But they know the secret, that it's wise to get first the reviews while the buyers are still drunk on the information because if they went back to ask afterwards, chances are the reviews would be different.
So, until people realize that they actually have to take action and do something that adds value to someone's life, they will be singing and doing the same dance in five years time.
