Hi,

I had a quick glance and on the mentioned thread and here are my thoughts:

There is a lot of pseudoscientific hype about curing cancer on the internet.

99.99% is just plain crap.

Some self-proclaimed health gurus try to profit from unproven "cures" directed toward severely ill patients with terminal diagnosis like cancer.

Sadly I have seen many such cases with my very own eyes.

I believe in evidence-based medicine, i.e. treatments that are proven to work in randomized double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trials.

Many people claim to have the "magic pill" but few or none have even tried to prove it.

Some of the charlatans even lack basic medical knowledge and use mistaken "common knowledge" to lure their victims/patients.

Please, consult only with certified doctors and avoid all kinds of homeopaths, naturopaths, mystic healers etc.

Don't get offended if you disagree. Don't rely on anecdotal evidence.

Rely on only scientific proofs.

Respectfully,
Stefan, MD

Thanks for your honest feedback! I'd like to ask a question. If hemorrhoids are left untreated, can they cause piles in the rectum?
