Apart from being a business owner myself (I have a brick and mortar business and have staff) I can assure you that having my website "scanned" offers me no tangible benefit that would justify me paying someone to perform that task.

So... don't waste your time!

I concur. I actually bought it. Put in tremendous effort but got ZERO results.NotWorking

did you claim the $100 bucks that the wso scamseller was offering if you made no sales???Blush
Sure could use the email template that is mention to be in a zip file which we never got. Anyone want to share?
Bad approach, but not a bad idea if you go about it the right way. Businesses are concerned about security, but getting a spam eMail is not the way to get business.

If you seriously want this to be your business, you give talks to business groups on how to improve their security and you write follow-up snail mail letters - preferably with a small book included that tells them what to do and how to do it.

The business owner doesn't want to do the work - but the book and information you give them tells them that you know your stuff and then they hire you to do the work.

And charging them $49.99? Give me a break! That tells the business that you DON'T know what you're doing. It's too freakin' cheap. You have to charge them a lot more than that to be taken seriously.j

The good thing about this BSO is that it can be used as an idea for a service, but don't bother with the rest of it - you're better off treating it in an off-line way.
@Maggie Jo

Did not bother to try cos when I emailed him for help a couple of times, I was given various reasons, long and short on why I was not making sales etc... despite me telling him, I have been using different email templates and even professional ones. So if I were to ask him for the $100, he will give me another round of reasons and put the blame on me, so I will never win... And I seriously doubt he is making any sales himself at all...
saved my time and energy thankssmileHappydance
Thanks to the op for the share. Rep coming. Also thanks to everyone here who has provided their input as to why this is just another crock where, one again, the product is the sizzle and not the promised steak. seoforbeginners: Rep coming for you too for the pratical application and feedback. Time is as valuable as money, so a heads-up like this is crucial when it comes to sorting the wheat from the chaff.

Cheers!
thank you for sharing!
I repped seoforbeginners for taking the trouble and courage telling us about his zero results. And saving me money etc thats for OP repped as well.
