@moonbeam. I just put them through VT too. I see it was analysed just an hour before (probably you) and it had registered a 1/53 result. However, I re-ran my own test and this time it found 0/53 (The patch file that is).

I think given that it is a patch, it will be safe enough, but I think I will run it sandboxed anyway.

Safe for Adsense? Probably not. It depends how you use it and how much you value your adsense account. I'm going to try it for Adsense but I will need to get another account first....my fourth. :p

And yes, I have made money from each of the previous accounts with bots and paid views. It's just a matter of how much you can get away with before the hammer comes. But that's just my approach. I'm not suggesting anyone does the same.

Yes it's bot traffic and not real people. However, it is very handy for getting views to video and sites etc, to help with ranking.
