Actually the software isn't created by the vendor. It's available for free as a plugin for PowerPoint. The offer includes instructions to find and install the plugin and then you can add the images provided.

No, my friend the Storyboard is an Add-in of powerpoint.
Install Visual Studio 2013 Software to have in powerpoint Storyboard and import in file rar "More Asset(Bonus 1-4) the files .sbsx" in Storyboard on powerpoint.
Please read the Tuto how to install Storyboard in powerpoint et import the files .sbsx.

What version of Visual Studio can I install for having Storyboards in PowerPoint 2016 for Mac?

I cant find Visual Studio for Mac yet...
