Hey guys-girls some opinions. A few weeks back I came home and a guy was sitting on the hood of my car with a cup of coffee with no coaster. I asked him politely to move, instead he began to laugh and says "what's the problem"
I again asked him to please move, now he gets up and comes up in my face and striking me on the chest with his finger, saying what are you gonna do.

Before he could blink, I struck him so hard he went flying to the ground. He got up and came at me, I side kicked him and sent him flying back into ground, this time he landed bad, he could not get up. As it turned out, he fractured his collar bone.

The police did nothing, because he put his hands on me, and I didn't know what he was going to do next. Did I over react? I have little patience for people like that.

you are crazy. He could have killed you. He wanted to beat the crap out of you. If that was me, I would simply have waited awhile. If he didnt move, I would have simply asked him if he wanted a ride downtown and given him carfare or found another way to get where I am going.

I am non confrontational and dont want to end my life shived by someone!

maybe before hitting him you could just warn that he will regret it.

You look like your are confident with your force, did it worth using it at this time? I hope this will not cause you further trouble, we never know if this guy will want revenge and if he does it well you wouldn't see him coming.

I did warm him, in fact it took 6 minutes before I hit him. And I would not have had he poked me with his finger on my chest. I am an expert in martial arts for 25 years, so he had no chance. But I was about to walk away, as I have in many situations in the past and this was my first fight in 16 years, but that when he poked me in the chest saying what are you gonna do and it was no easy poke, his hands were heavy like a construction worker.

Bluefeb says and I quote "you are crazy. He could have killed you. He wanted to beat the crap out of you." So this just confirms I acted correctly, we both agree he wanted to fight, so I gave him one. As for crazy, the last fight I had was 16 yrs ago, when a guy put his hands on my girl after she said no.

As for retaliation, I can't stop that, but I did warn him again after the fight ended...if he came back I would have him arrested this time, nobody knows but I have a witness to the entire incident, and this witness is an ex-cop who is a friend of my friend, who told me I had the right, since he put his hands on me.
