Hi All,

I run a small software/game development team (3 including me). We aren't a registered company as of now, but we are in the process of registering the company as a Private Limited.

So far, I have only taken up projects for different clients and yes, it is going well. But, the problem is that tons of spec changes cause unexpected delay in the projects and as a result, often the payments are delayed, especially local clients. I usually get most clients via referrals unlike from freelance websites(Fiverr, where I am very selective about the projects I take up). So, when a client is not satisfied, I give them a full refund along with the latest source so that we part as friends.

This is why I have decided to create a subscription model game development business, details of which I can disclose to only interested people. I am looking for an investor whom I can trust. I know there are people here who have approached me to fund for my game project (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/narot...-begins/). But I couldn't accept their help that time as I had few projects in the pipeline.

Currently, there are 2 projects I am working on, one will be over by the end of August and the other will be over by the end of 2017.

I am planning on starting the game development business soon and I am looking for a partner who can invest at least $1500 monthly. An ideal partner would be someone who is looking for a long term business, someone who loves to be a partner of a growing software/game development company.

Best,
Ron
I Love the idea..the naroto project looks pretty good.

What is the monthly money used for?

Thanks. The monthly money will be used for creating the game art and animations + local and online marketing as well. I am planning on releasing a game every 3rd month. Customers can purchase the subscription for licensing (either full licensing or different levels of reskinnng) the games.
for your current business why are you not getting specs signed off to scope any requirements?

Then you charge extra for any changes or do what I do then deliver any changes they want in phase 2 of the project after they have paid for the original code/spec signoff?

I start the development only after I agree on the specs and the design with the client. Usually, a client gets a better idea to do the same thing once I have done a part. I know I should charge extra (from a developer's point of view). But from the client's point of view, only the same part is being changed in a different way and they don't understand that we have to do some major rewrite of the code for those. And on the top of that, I feel kind of bad to charge them more than what I agree initially.
