Most of them will though. Only change is that one would need a ssl certificate on any website sending code to Facebook these days. But that is a fact for whatever plugin doing this.

You need to also be aware that many "Free" themes and plugins can potentially expose your WP site to malware and other attacks.
An ex client of mine who thought they knew better than we did and decided to go it alone learned a hard lesson when they went crazy and installed all sorts of free themes on the WP sites they setup.
Cost them a small fortune to clean out the sites using Sitelock via Hostgator. The cause being free themes and plugins they had used across their WP sites.

you don't need to install SSL. At least you don't need to buy any SSL. Just create a free account at clodflare and use their flexible free SSL.
