Code:
Plugin: http://bit [dot] ly/29DDR5y (this is the shortened url from Sourcewave. I've put the full destination url below)
Advanced Training Course and Videos: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3xko6cir7n4orxt/WorkHorse%20Training%20Videos.zip?dl=0#
I did some reverse engineering of the bit [dot] ly link on the Sourcewave site, and it ends up here:
Code:
http://usecrackedpluginandrootdirectorywillbewiped.com/download/dl.php
Now, if you look at the site url, it doesn't exactly inspire confidence that the plugin doesn't have some kind of nasty script ioncubed in which will wipe your directory!
Code:
If you visit the main url of the download site: http://usecrackedpluginandrootdirectorywillbewiped.com
you get this message:
"wow ur a hacker!!1! congratz dood ur 2 cool"
The plugin also visits a hidden directory on this domain to download all the geo stuff. If you visit the link below, you can see all the geo files it pulls in:
Code:
http://usecrackedpluginandrootdirectorywillbewiped.com/geo/
Given the ion-cubing and developer behind this plugin (plus the fact Google has de-listed all their test sites!) there is NO WAY I would personally install this on a live server - especially as a "free" plugin.
Feel free to add some rep if you found any of this useful :)
this is the best reason to this shit plugin null!
So this is the NON ION-CUBE VERSION?
Code:
http://usecrackedpluginandrootdirectorywillbewiped.com/download/dl.php
Thanks for detailed feedback. It's helpful!
I agree Alex might be a good guy, but still people may make mistake. Hehe

- The plugin installs without issues
- It can scrape images without glitches (contrary to earlier comments - maybe the bugs have been fixed)
- It publishes to a schedule
- It formats posts nicely so far
I don't know if any of these posts will ever rank but from a technical point of the view, the plugin is doing what is claimed for it.
I know Alex Becker and his friends may not be entirely welcome by everyone around here, but if local SEO bulk post plugins (like SERPShaker) are your thing, then this one (so far) seems to check a lot of boxes.
UPDATE: testing this plugin: yes, it seems to build posts or pages nicely, formats them well. Auto-scheduling didn't work, but I suspect that's down to no cron job being set up, and the site not receiving vistors. No instructions about that are provided so it would be down to the user to figure out how to schedule posts.
Not ranking for any of the long-tail keywords (yet), but I'll report back on progress for anyone who's interested.
Does anyone know where to find all the training videos beyond the Youtube playlist?

I'm the one that made those claims (in the video someone linked earlier)
I saw your earlier post attempting to explain it to be a good plugin: As a little sneak preview (I know both the owners) ProjectSupremacy (A very good local schema plugin) and SERPShaker (The original, as the first installation named something along the lines of Local Pages Ninja but don't quote me on that was made in 2011 - It's 5 years later and Becker is still trying to rip off this plugin, or did we all forget about WorkHorse 1.0 aka Source Flood??) are making a combo plugin THIS year, which will be a LOT better (and automated options using WordAi) spinning version, with 100x better Schema than WH.. WH is another bullshit Becker surprise that got turned into a free way to scrape Facebook profiles for retargeting later.. Only reason it's free is because of my video, too many people questioned them on it and they didn't want to provide support or updates because they know it was shit and a long term manhandling project because (as Bobhenry said, none of the sites will even index...)
In terms of the non-ioncube issues, there is still some (broken) encoding left inside the plugin, and it also still pulls those geo files.
Thanks for that info, GodOfSEO. Repped!

Thanks for the input. FTAOD - I have no axe to grind with this. I don't know Alex Becker, nor anyone else on this forum. I'm just doing simple testing to see if the plugin lives up to its claims.
So far:
- Posts build as claimed.
- The siloed URL option didn't work on my host, but to be fair, there were warnings that it might not work.
- The schedule feature didn't work at first (see earlier post) but that may be because of time zone issue with my website. I installed a free WP plugin and that fixed the issue. Posts now build according to a schedule
- Posts DO get indexed by Google
- But, more significantly, after four days nothing is ranking. Too early to write it all off as a joke, but unless this happens then the rest doesn't matter. Of course, this may be down to my content and choice of keywords, so I'm not yet ready to say it's proven to be useless.
Is anyone else testing it, and do you have any results?
