You took it the wrong way Vintom.. I only created that thread coz I was really irritated with that one person joeMIllaKeating unnesessarily bumping every other post.
Go and check what that person is doing..it started a month ago and still...
I log in and see 2 pages full of JoeMillaKeating's thanks ..
Come On! What sane person does that!
Why would I otherwise have a problem with anyone saying a thanks..
I agree with Yogendr above. This person, JoeMillaKeating is immaturedly "thanking" every d*** poster's new posts. It's totally unnecessary. All that anyone needs to do is to check the new posts and we can find some 2, 3 persons doing the "thanks ritual."
To be honest, I used to do that too in the past before seeing a post explaining that thanking a poster's first post is not only unnecessary, but also is counterproductive. It bumps up the post and makes it appear in the fresh posts section thereby allowing scope for people to mistake that thread for something new.
And, after I learned the folly of my ways, I stopped. And JoeMillaKeating still continues "thanking" the posters and helping the rest of us waste their time in checking his "thanked" posts.
