I too thought this was a totally awesome way to get some great traction, finally a loophole that I could put into action. Well, today I executed this whole "wso" which could probably had been written in half a page like someone just did in a previous post.
And the results?
After I followed the instructions to "delete" your boosted post and "edit" in by including your link... AIN'T SH** HAPPENED.
I wen from getting hundreds of likes and many shares with my boosted post but once I implemented this "WSO" it just stopped cold on it track... I mean not even one more share or like!
I'm disappointed in the results.
I had an awesome boosted post and this crappyass idea just took the wind out of my sails.
Facebook has some of these loopholes covered well and doesn't just let someone add a link after you post something and allow it to keep showing it to people.
I might tray again but and leave an update, but I'm pretty sure that this idea is a crappy one that does not work and only made to sell a WSO.
I could be wrong, and will admit if anything changes, but so far, I just wasted my effin time trying to implement this.
My advice: Don't waste your time. Learn FB ads, learn about pixels and retargetting and you will do way better than listening to this newbie WSO.
