Yes, it entails the use of traffic (solo ads or FREE) sent to a squeeze page and funnel that has a "one time offer" and 1 upsell.
But the distinction that this method entails is the use of (and complete description and instructions for replicating this concept in your niche...) a reverse squeeze page. These critters flaunt a lower than average lead conversion to your list, but tend to have higher conversions for the OTO and upsell.
In my experience in use of reverse squeeze pages (which is quite a lot, actually) the RSP must be very well tweaked before sending expensive traffic to it, or you could hemorrhage money.
Thoughts of "sleep-clicking" my way to G00gle and be the high bidder for the word "the" -- comes to mind.
Anyway, that all being said - a well-tweaked reverse-sqeeze-page is far superior to what 99% of your competition is doing.
These guys are definitely telling the truth about their success, but will you be able to repeat it?
I think you could, with a week's effort writing and testing and writing and testing. And $400 of test money with Bing.
