You're right shekkie, that's because you have reached the query limit.
The ban is only temporary, though. A few hours later, the trend view should work again.

I think, the issue only arised when I added the second trend view for the last 7 days. With only one trend view displayed at a time, I never experienced the problem. Nevertheless, I think it's quite useful to have a long term and a short term view for your keywords.

By the way, thank you so much for your compliments and the nice words about my tool! Just to let you know, KWAlert is currently being updated and improved. It will offer a new feature that will provide at least some trending keywords right away, without relying on the email notification services. Stay tuned!

Let me tell you more about the idea behind KWAlert.net. In contrast to conventional keyword tools, my tool comes with a notification service. The goal is not only to regularly provide you with search terms but to provide you with terms that are trending, i.e. on the rise in terms of search volume.

How does KWAlert achieve this? Well, by collecting Google's ever-changing search suggestions over time, the chances will grow that an added term will be fresh and untapped.

Do you think that could work out in practice?

If you can add Yearly or Monthly views next to the keywords, that would be really awesome!
thanks a lot man! rep+
KWAlert.net has been updated. Let me present the features of the new version (dev.kwalert.net / still beta):

A) You can now choose between three types of scrape

1) Fast Scrape: It's works like the previous version and will normally find around 350 related keywords.
2) Deep Scrape: Provides 1000-1500 related keywords.
3) Trend Scrape: Scrapes Google Trends for related keywords that are currently on the rise in terms of search volume. It also provides some parameters for each result:

Last Spike = Start date of the latest growth in search volume
Growth = Average percentage of the volume change
Period = Length of the volume change in days

B) Different alphabets can be used for scraping. When you select a language that makes use of a non latin alphabet, the system will append the appropriate letters to the term you enter. (Currently, only Russian and Latin alphabets are supported. More will follow soon...)

C) Same queries are merged together. If your query matches an older query (by another user), you will see all the results contained in our database.

You can try the new beta version at dev.kwalert.net

Have fun!

These are really cool changes man!!
Awesome tool, thanks man
The update has been tested and released into the wild!

I would welcome any feedback on the new features, especially regarding "Trend Scrape". Do you find it to be useful?

It allows you to get a list of related trending terms at once, without having to build a collection over time. However, it only provides a limited number of suggestions.
