Yeah I have heard of that program. I am also trying a "launch jacking" site myself for a product that comes out in March. This was based on a method I read from Franklin Hatchett of Online Dimes.
So far it's working but yes I had to throw about $80~ into the site.
In this course I taught I actually show an example of my review post ranking on the first page with zero backlinks on more or less a new blog. I just did a quality review with honest feedback on the product.
