give away stock photos? Better off selling micro-stock at five bucks each than hoping folks hit the donate button. This isn't even worth 17 bucks because of you do jump in on this, your bandwidth and hosting fees will eat any donation money you may make.

That's why they have PRO, where you make membership and sell!!

Now let my realism kick in here for a moment.

Have you ever heard of the 80/20 rule?

That is where only 20% of the people will give their time and money to anything you pick.

10% of them will donate money
10% of them will invest their time

80/20 rule

I know for fact that this won't make you money from donations. Maybe enough to pay hosting fees if that.

How do you compete with others as a membership site? One site with the same images comes along with a $1 monthly membership while you site is set at $5. At what point will you realize that hey why pay $5 with joe blow has it for $1 for the same service. When all these images will end up on the search engines free for the taking.

Just my take do as you please but the hype won't add up.

Do you mind sharing? I've been looking at this as I'm a member of several art forums and I could probably offer this as an opportunity for members to upload there work and maybe do a revshare or something similar. While in the meantime I could pitch them art related offers like the current youzign and brandrr offers. Hmmm.

The bandwidth thing scares me though. I have a host that says unlimited, but I've never pushed it as much as this potentially could. I'm thinking like around 1000 images at a high resolution hosted would need to be viable.

I am just downloading images... Creating website is just a waste of time... I agree with Chickfilet comment...
