A couple of weeks ago I noticed something so strange that it fully changed my perspective of SEO. I have never ever seen anything like this...a site ranking #2 for a highly competitive keyword with no backlinks (the backlinks count was literally zero). I had a review site ranking for that same keyword that was making me in the range of $500-$700 every single month. Ultimately, I sold that site for a very good asking price in flippa. Now, I know how competitive this niche is...because I was in it. I had to build over 1000 quality backlinks...and all of those links were coming from high PR content links. And it was no different for other sites that were ranking for the same keyword. All of them had hundreds if not thousands of backlinks built. And this site was literally ranking with no backlinks and it was just a plain review site.I knew something was really wrong here...
Either Google's crazy or I am.
I though maybe there is some kind of ‘Google dance’ so I waited…and waited…and waited…nothing changed. The site was still standing in that same position with zero backlinks. Well, I thought there is something really up here. And I needed to do more digging. I wanted to know if there were more sites like this one...
And to my disbelief, they were all over the place and hardly anyone was noticing it…
More often that not, these sites all had the same trend. They were created a few months after the Panda update, were using the same strategy through out the site and were the achieving the similar results with no backlinks. I knew I had to test this by myself and see how effective it really is

I can keep going with all these screenshots but I don’t want to make this thread look ugly. It already looks ugly with all these dark shades. But I can assure you for one thing, sooner or later you will wake up to realize one of these panda sites have dominated your keyword.
