Remember, on the sales page, it does say that he designed this with newbies in mind. Just because someone already knows about this stuff, doesn't mean that someone else hasn't, or that it doesn't work. Quite often, even though related material has been shared before, or is common knowledge, to some, a product can work out very very well for someone else, if they put some effort into, making the share a freaking awesome one, for them, and very helpful. Besides, quite often, the same material, being presented by someone else, possibly in a different manner, or explaining the steps will give someone that "aha" moment that a different product didn't.
If you're going to degrade a share as rehashed, old news, etc, the least you can do is point someone to a better version of related programming/code/offer. Just being plain negative is sending others off to lala land searching for something else, that someone else is going to degrade.
