Short Review
I had to go back and make sure that this product was "new" and that it wasn't 2 years old, because I can assure you that the techniques this guy is trying to sell are (old). The product is about finding products which haven't launched yet (launch jacking) and creating Live Events in YouTube which will likely rank well because there is zero competition. Basically, you're spamming the Internet with slide show videos saying, "Click the Link to Find Out More". Stuff like this is why people despise Internet Marketers.

Cool share - rep added.
I just watched the first training video. I'm familiar with the technique and have used it before, though not specifically for launches.
A couple things he doesn't mention in the video that you should keep in mind: This will get you to the top of Google quickly, that is true. But, 1. Only for keywords that are not overly competitive and don't already have some well-established sites listed on Google. And 2. You don't stay on page one for very long. Basically I think that once your event is over, so is your first page ranking.
It's still a good way to get some traffic, though. And I'm sorry Big Tuna, I have to respectfully disagree with your assessment. I think you can use this technique without being sleezy with it. Also, technically, promoting launches is not launch jacking. Launch jacking is when you use a product launch to steal (jack) sales by doing a review of a currently hotly searched product to essentially say, "It's not that good - here, buy this instead." The difference is that the method taught with ATJ is to sell the product you're reviewing, not some other product or your own product.
I think it's pretty legit.

The thread have some good thoughts! Thanks!
This method works not only for youtube ranking and it's a lot more than even 2 years older..
Actually it's the one of the basic IM rules - rank keywords, that going to be trendy, first, when they are LC (or even Zero Competitive) and right before they become popular and more competitive.
You can apply this rule almost to any campaign or niche. Just watch for what is going to be hot/trendy product/event/content/etc.. in the nearest future and start to rank all future keywords for that item and you'll be the first who get early viewers and visitors.
IMHO: One of the main problems that everyone who will use this strategy should solve is how can you make it interesting, so your visitors will be thankful for your early "review of product/event/content that doesn't even launched yet, so you cannot have more info than other people already know".
One of the variations of this method is very often used by blackhat IM'ers with their PPD and similar strategies, when they actually share with you old versions of products, trojans or even absolutely different content in zip file instead of something useful that people were looking for.
Yellow-page news agents (sometimes blackhat IM'ers too) also use other variation of this method to create upcoming news..
Most of them have reputation of shameless liars in the pursuit of free traffic, but there are few who could be named as tricky and creative IM'ers.
I think this is what Big Luna was talking about - attract people with upcoming trendy keywords and share some bullshit with them.
