Quick review:

Use Reddit to generate traffic.

From experiencing, the method is doable.
But it's not easy as it's described in the PDF.

You need to be more creative and post a good content
to spark engagement and interest in your sub-reddit
community.

Also I would recommend to use a software (search the forum)
to manage your Karma status and handle Votes/Upvotes etc...
