I wouldn't worry about refunds from any of the GB sellers on BBHF.

IM Pornstar has already agreed to completely refund all his purchasers, and I'm sure the others will too. You'd have to be an idiot not to.

If Paypal receives just a small number of the same type of complaints about any Paypal user within a short period of time, they will carefully look at that user's (i.e. the GB seller's) Paypal account under a magnifying glass.

Unless you are an established online retailer or have a "brick and mortar" business, this usually ends up with your Paypal account getting immediately and permanently suspended - all monies in your account are then held for 180 days (to cover any more claims) before being finally returned.

I speak from personal experience here. In fact, it's happened to most serious internet marketers.

This "GB refund" situation will become quite commonplace, and you can expect to see a lot more GB's getting nuked by Product Owners in the future.

In the "old days", GB's were run purely for friends to share the cost of expensive products amongst themselves. As there was no profit agenda, 99.9% of all product owners were cool with this and turned a blind eye.

But now, as many GB's are being run purely to make profit, the majority of Product Owners are becoming seriously p1ssed at others making a lot of money at their expense and so are starting to play hardball.

If 1 Developer license was being shared among say 20 people, like in the old days, the product owner wouldn't care.

But once Luke Maguire sees GB organizers are making $10K each from reselling HIS product, it's only natural he's going to get seriously p1ssed - these GBs have easily personally cost him more than $10K in lost revenue.

So, please give the GB organizers some slack and time to do the refunds if necessary. It's just one of those things that can happen to any GB.

Just wondering what is the outcome of this massive issue here? Any news from this GB owner? actually im more interested in trying the product then getting the refund. any good news similiar to what kristie has laid out?

Anyone wants to start a BSO or GB for this?

That is where Maguire screwed up. If he had sold a 20-license pack for $297 we wouldn't be having this conversation. The guys here would have sold those licenses, and gone back for another, and another. He would have sold a lot more of that OTO, everybody would have paid a little more, but still have a working license, and I guess would have all been happy.

SaaS vendors have the choice, white-label or not. Many will opt to pick up the extra money from the low-end market who won't or can't pay their full price. Unlike plugin vendors they don't have to deal with crackers and the like so this can actually be a winner for them. The 'standard' method 1) Sell packs of licenses (specific number) and 2) Don't let those licenses go out till your own promotion is over. Maguire only had to look at other people's funnels to figure that out - he didn't.

Instead Maguire screwed up, and thinks he can get out by calling his legal customers black hatters.
