We cant disclose sites of our customers and also keep in mind that social signals are just one factor out of many. The G+1s are also useful for quite a few other things like apps for example. I'm sure that if you do a simple google search on the effects of social signals you will find quite a few case studies. Regarding your second question the visitor must be logged into their G+ accounts.
