For the API details to enter in Xpressstores settings, wait for your affiliate approval and then immediately request your API access from this link: http://portals.aliexpress.com/adcenter/api_setting.htm
The awesome news is that I requested my API acces when I posted here a few hours ago...when I logged in now to get the link for that API page right now, I noticed that I got my API details!!
That was just a few hours!!
Thank you! Worked for Me!
Merry Christams Everyone! (yeah... that's right 'Christmas'...)
Glad it worked for you too like it did for me!

Any comments on the spinner?
.
I am also using the advanced version - In my opinion the spinner is not the best quality, but I guess it does help to make your content more unique in google's eyes.
What I don't like about the spinner is that it uses words that do not fit in the sentence.
It uses more literal synonyms that make the sentence poorly constructed.
So if you have just a few products it is wise to manually review and edit the descriptions after spinning it. If you have many products, then there's not much you can do.

Expressstores was created to be an affiliate tool for Aliexpress, so it has to redirect people to Aliexpress website - otherwise they will not get a cookie which means no way for Aliexpress to track the client and pay you commission when they buy something.
If you want something that will not redirect them, but allow them to buy from your site directly then it's a different process altogether, based on a different business model.
I don't want to highjack the OP's thread, so PM me if you need info on that.
Thanks Dom. I stopped using it
I find the whole Aliexpress site and the info that it pulls onto your web site CRAP
So much of the content needs re-wording.. yeah ok if you only have a few items but OMG the work involved is scary. YOU must check every bit of information on your site.
Issues like the topic says womans yada yadda when in fact it is a male item or vise or versa
Am thinking I might only load 10 items or give up.. not sure as yet
.
Would like to thank Dom for continuing support and insight to Aliexpress affiliation and to Mollydo for asking pertinent questions.
Here, doubting my affiliation application will be excepted, giving me the time however to make an informed decision as to attempt a few stores via the Xpress route.
