I have an existing account and this worked perfectly for me!

To use:
1. Login to your Twilio account. Don't have one? Create one and try it by following the next steps.
2. Click on 'Billing' (in the top right)
3. Under 'Make a one-time payment,' click 'Add Funds'
4. On the next page, click on 'I have a promo code'
5. Paste in the code and hit the 'Submit' button.

BAM! $25 added to your account.

Looks good, but I tried to receive a text message and can't seem to get one. Do you or anyone here know how this works for text messaging? I wen't through the website and just don't get it.

i cant find the 'Billing section as mentioned in this post

@Holistic: Dude, if you're not familiar with Twilio and how it works, you'll need to take some time to figure it out.
The basic idea is this: Twilio is a service that integrates with other things to give you phone/SMS functionality.

For example, there are Wordpress plugins that integrate w/ Twilio.
It works by using Twilio's API. The plugin or script you're using will simply ask you for your Twilio Code and Secret Key (or something like that).

If you don't want to use Wordpress, there's a brilliant (but occasionally buggy) piece of free software that you can use to build your "flows" called OpenVBX.
You'll be able to find that script and download it (it's completely open source and FREE!) by going to:
openvbx (dot) org.

That's all I can tell you for now. The rest you'll have to figure out on your own, my brother!

After you login, just look at the upper right part of the screen.
If you see the word 'ACCOUNT', just click that.



Then you'll see a little dropdown menu w/ your name at the top right. Click that and...
It should be right there!
