We all get caught up with software and programs to download stuff. Sometimes we just need basic knowledge.
Just to share, if you need to extract a youtube video so that you are not affected by its loading time or a long video where you want to watch without internet connection... go to its youtube url and for example you have a link like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...
Put a "ss" in front of y of youtube like this=> ssyoutube.com/watch?v=... (you exchange the " https://www. " with " ss ") and refresh and it will change to a website where you can download the youtube to a regular video mp4 file.
It might be old stuff to the advanced and pro's, but some of the newer members might get some use out of this method.
