It may require a key but not from the developer. I think the is from amazon associate (which you might have it if you're already an amazon affiliate).

Yes, you are absolutely correct. This plugin DOES NOT require a key, it only requires your own personal Amazon Associates API key that you have to sort your self by getting an account with Amazon.
To summarize:
No - key for this plugin
Yes - Amazon Associate API key from Amazon that you apply for with them.
This can be found! And yes your sites will be banned and your associate accounts will get terminated!

I'm interested to know *exactly* how an Amazon Affiliate API key can get a "theme" banned and prevented from earnings. The theme has nothing to do with Amazon at all.
Can you explain CopyMyCash? How *exactly* is this even possible as the API key could be used for ANY NUMBER of possible uses..... I'm anxious to hear your explanation! Did YOU get banned? Do you have proof of this? What happened that makes you say this?
