i mean not this specific archive, but wamp developer in general.
some php scripts won't run on it at all, although perfectly running on more traditional servers like apache friends or mamp.
whatever the reason, it how it is.
i found it when i was sending perfectly working scripts to some other people using wamp developer, and they won't start, while being ok everywhere else.

absolutely true.
just wanted to point out that out of the box wamp developer gives behaviour similar to that one of godaddy hosting, and there are tons of posts on some godaddy-specific probs, many of which are still not resolved.
and how many people out there will be tweaking mamp developer after installation after all? maybe changing php-mysql version... but in general, not many i believe.
anyway, there were issues before, and i just wanted to tell to be careful.

for me WAMPdeveloper has always been the most stable one on Windows 8+ and with good documentation on site for various scenarios.
Works great with laravel too..
