As far as speed you can see the grades for the (2) versions below:

For you people with "a need for speed" a good theme can help, but is not the magic bullet.

Get a great host.. and NO, HostGator shared and the likes aren't a good host if you are looking to get blazing results.

Have a look at SiteGround or A2Hosting, getting good results there.

As well, loading your site with things like VisualComposer "code bloat" is defeating the purpose.. IMO



Learn how to correct the issues you have like in the above reports from GTmetrics, You'll be blazin in no time. ;)



I basically want to give the theme a run before I buy it for the schema integrated markup..

Those are good scores for Wordpress! My 3 page HTML site doesn't even load that fast...

You need to let me have a look at it..

A pure HTML static should be smokin a WP site even on a slower host. ;)

I installed it on my site and it started loading some java script in the background. Almost 1 mb of it. Not sure what it was for but when I uninstalled the theme it didn't go away. Good thing my wordpress was a test installation.
Those who installed check the source code of your home page and make sure you don't see the reference to following code

Anyone have a link for this that they are willing to share on the forum or with a PM?
