I think this may have been shared before, something to do with creating quick and nasty kindle books then offering for free to get thousands of downloads, then provide links in ebook to pages with adsense or affiliate stuff. Thing is you need lots of kindle books to get steady traffic as you can only offer books for free 5 days out of every 3 months or so

Hmm... Not a bad one at all. But, how often do people click on links in their Kindle ebooks? This could work well for list building though. But, the odds are still quite low I guess. It'll need a lot of eyeballs in front of the link to begin with.
But I don't understand the last part of your message. There are kindle ebooks that are free all the time.
