GREAT SHARE! Max reps 4U :-)
I just watched a webinar featuring John Pearce from SEO Breakthrough and Chris Cantell introducing a framework based on the catalyst platform. No wordpress required for your site and highly optimized for speed and seo.
It is called Dynamik and apparently is in beta mode. Selling for $497.
Is this the same?

@ Marketeer :
I missed that webinar, (due to health problems I didn't update my payment info, my membership is "inactive" -so I can't see the replay). I see the sales page and it "seems" to be the same thing but they (Pearce and Cantell) talk about site security etc, that may be a bigger part of the newer version of dynamik and they also say you just install the 20 plugins and you are ready to go. Which plugins do they recommend?
Would you have a backend link to the replay??
Apparently, they already have the 20 plugins ready with the site install and they have added a script to adjust bounce rate.
Dynamik costs $199, the Genesis Framework $60, at $260 we are far from Pearce and Cantell's $500 price tag, so I would say it IS Dynamik but with extra features and one-click site install (plugins, bounce rate script etc etc already installed)?
For more about adjusted bounce rate - do it yourself check out these 2 blog posts:
I've used dynamik in the past - it is a great theme. Its precursor was Catalyst which was phased out over a few years. Dynamik is a wp-theme but more precisely it is an advanced Child-Theme of Genesis (which is also a wordpress theme) Dynamik makes it soooo much easier to customize your theme without polluting the very clean Genesis code.
Genesis is consistently one of the top themes for speed and clean coding. Dynamik makes it easier to use.
There is a learning curve to use it, but it is worth it to make beautiful themes that YOU control. If you just want everything to be "push-button", this solution is not for you, you need to think a little but it is a whole lot less technical than a pure Genesis theme.
Here are some help docs -
It's been a while, but I believe that the dynamik-gen file in the zip download is it the basic theme setup, it is nice that now they give you "skins" to have quick setup of your site.
So, now where can I find the Genesis theme???
reps added - Thanks!!

Thanks for the reply Moopy2.
You are right on all accounts in that it is an upgrade from the basic Dynamik website builder and has about 20 pre-loaded plugins and script for adjusting the google bounce rate settings.
Thanks for reference to the script and help files.
I vaguely remember playing with the genesis theme when I first started building websites but had never heard of Dynamik before now. I wasn't aware that Catalyst and Genesis were so closely related as a platform.
The skins look pretty nice as well and probably load faster than most 3rd party themes.
I did manage to record the video for the latest Dynamik (Pearce and Cantell), which has more performance and security tweaks added as well as the 20 plugins which he briefly shows during the webinar.

Thanks for your help
