On the other thread, I have repped you , but it's disappointing You simply flaying me just out of jealous without being truthful at all , may be bcos you have lesser reps or it seems You have weaker eyesight
You can still read my unedited Post still, Where I have 'thanked and repped and credited op for this share in my first line and only I added Solidfiles link in Second line for the help of my bbhf friends and I never claimed it as my product, infact i credited op firstly before providing that link.
Also, you can see many other good members have provided zippy or other file link for ease of bbhf friends, but , one like you just are too jealous to see the truth

You are posting so just to downgrade others rather than being thankful..

No, I am posting this to make sure the credit goes where it belongs.
The Solidfiles link posted by you is NOT a mirror created by yourself. It is taken directly from the Mirrorcreator link posted by "producer" in the original post. And I *am* thankful for that link. That's why I repped "producer" who created it and asked you to kindly refrain from stealing others' links in the future.
Maybe you didn't outright claim that this link is from you, but you certainly "allowed" the other members to believe that. I have no problem with other members mirroring whatever is shared in a thread and providing mirror links of their own, as long as those links are truly their own.

And what exactly do you think I'm jealous about? The fact that you managed to copy a link?

That was at the same time while I posted my above complaint about your behavior. I only saw your reply and thanks afterwards and knowing that I just posted that complaint moments before actually did make me feel a bit bad for a few seconds... before I remembered that I took several minutes to post that review and got repped for that, not for shutting up about inappropriate behavior in another thread. The one thread has nothing to do with the other and it should be kept that way.


This forum is about helping each other, not about becoming the greatest Kahuna (or whatever) with the highest reputation score. If I wanted, I could have done what you did and tried to steal credit for other members' uploads. Over the last six months I could have gained a rep score of hundreds or possibly thousands, if done carefully, but I wouldn't have added any actual value to this forum. So I didn't.
I want to keep my posts relevant and give value. Why don't you try the same? You want +rep for giving mirror links? Why not create the mirrors yourself?
I won't pretend that I am a great uploader myself. I have a slow internet connection, so I even rarely download, never mind uploading. That would only be possible in the rare event that I have access to a better internet connection. But at least I don't pretend to be a great uploader by copying mirror links from others and allowing the other forum members to believe I created them myself.

You want facts?
It is a FACT that enad COPIED the link he provided from the Mirrorcreator link posted in the original post. He DID NOT create that link himself. So he should NOT be credited for it.
That enad repped producer is irrelevant. Or do you consider the rep enad gave to producer to be some kind of payment so he's now allowed to claim producer's links as his own?

Do you want me to browse through all threads in this section and rip Solidfiles or Zippyshare links from all Mirrorcreator links anyone provides and then post them as if they were my own? What good would that do? What value would I provide by doing that? What would I achieve besides uselessly spamming this forum? How would I deserve any credit/rep for that?

I firstly credited OP and afterwards it only, I posted direct link to help Newbies getting easy access to main file without even thinking of reps thing, since many other members has shared zippy and other direct links in many other threads to help other Members for easy access.

As I explained above: If I cared about my rep score at all, I would have been doing for the past six months what you did here and copied mirror links from other users. THAT could have gotten me lots of reputation. I didn't do it, because I don't care about reputation and because I don't want to spam the forum.

This is about:
- spamming the forum with useless posts that contain nothing new
and
- using other members' contributions without explicitly stating where those come from (plagiarism).

Well, congratulations. You managed to get that link taken down within minutes after posting it in a clickable format. Usually Solidfiles links are among those that stay live the longest.
Besides: Don't you think that even newbies should at least be able to find a mirror link on Mirrorcreator site? If they can't even manage that, how could they ever succeed in IM?

No, it's perfectly normal behavior in this forum to thank and +rep someone who originally shared something and then provide a mirror link yourself which you also created yourself.
It is not normal behavior to simply post the link of someone else without giving credit, which is not the same as giving rep. Giving credit means you clearly state where that link came from. If you don't do that, it's like plagiarism.

What do you think gives more "quality"? A post that only repeats something (for example a link) that has been posted previously or a post that tries to explain how to avoid useless posts?

What I want is what every sensible user would want in the Freebie section: Either additional mirror links or useful and truthful reviews. Copying another member's mirror link is neither.
If you simply want to thank a member, that is possible by giving +rep, without having to blow up the thread with useless "Thank you" posts (ever seen a thread on leakforums . net?).
