Jakob Nelson, who's been dubbed the "the guru of Web page usability" by The New York Times, uses a six-cycle heuristic evaluation concept and a small set of evaluators to examine a particular User Interface.
He then assigns rankings to key areas in order to determine if that UI complies with recognized usability principles.
This document utilized Nelson's six heuristics cycles to evaluate the effectiveness of the WordPress software installation UI, with an emphasis on online documentation support.
