I am the owner of TextMechanic, a set of online tools I have created in 2010 and been working on them ever since. I have noticed that you use this tool a lot in this site.

My domain name textmechanic.com was hijacked and stolen and currently cannot be recovered. Because of that, I have moved my website to textmechanic.co.

The site will show no advertisements, no donations requests, no popups, it is just free and served from the cloud.

TextMechanic.com had an Alexa Rank of 17,000 and had millions of unique visitors everyday. I feel terrible myself for losing my domain name and terrible for the members who cannot find this tool.

Please spread this thread and if moderators can update the current links to textmechanic.co instead of textmechanic.com, it would improve the user experience of others.

Also, do include of tools you would like TextMechanic to have, so that I will create them soon..

I am using your site every day, to sort lines and other cool stuff, yesterday I have noticed that .com is on godaddy, googled it and found your .co domain.
How you could allow domain to get "hijacked" ? Did you forgot to renew it?

It is very simple and just point the server to another domain to drive traffic to another site and then infect all the people who visit it

what amazes me and saw that as you say
they entered and took control of the server

they simply do not have loaded an exploit to infect automatically
people in addition to the file of the site without making a mess
and without you noticing anything
