At the risk of sounding like a shmuck, does anyone have any idea of how to open the .wpress files which contain the landing pages? I tried the usual suspects, google and 7z, but it's a no go. Any help is appreciated.

You don't "open" them - they are wordpress archives/backups that you restore to create the websites.

Many thanks for replying, ratzazz. If it doesn't entail too much of your time, how do I restore the files? If you feel that the explanation will be a long process, I'll understand if you let it pass.
