Ok this is another one of my case studies I wrote. As with my previous case study this has never been sold or shared anywhere online before. Once you finish reading it your head will be spinning with ideas.

You'll see how I made $1,200+ with a tiny amount of traffic.

From start to finish the set up time was about 30 mins as I created a very simple html site. Then the commissions came in on autopilot.

I show the product I promoted, the niche, the way I do keyword research, the traffic I got and the all important results (i.e sales!)

Now this is from 2011 however it still works in 2015 just like it did then.

You can promote literally thousands of products in thousands of niches doing this.

i don't know how you can make this claim. promoting foreign sites became a little more popular during start of the amazon boom in 2009. although still a very viable marketing option, the competition now is 10x what it was in 2011 and continuing to grow.

so no, it doesn't work just like it did in 2011. there is now more time researching the right product with the right keywords and you now have to deal with google's updated algorythms which makes it harder to rake micro niche sites(1 or two pages)

i read your case study and it's a pretty good case study but just a tad bit outdated now haha and i am 100% positive that it doesn't work the way it did back then. i would say an hour job back then to create that site would take about a day to create something similar(researching products and the right buyer keywords and creating a 5 page informational site). in that sense, it's still a viable marketing option for a 1 or 2 day job.

the only problem i don't like with case studies like this is that i always liked to spend the extra time to target where the buyers are. there is a reason why most marketing efforts are within 5 countries. the competition may be a lot higher but the rewards can be a lot higher too. just because there is less competition doesn't mean that the rewards are higher per effort put in.

for example back then, you coulda spent 2-3 hours on a great looking site promoting the latest fad like the e-cig and made 10x what you made and i'm sure that if the site was always updated, the site coulda made 50x that by now.

anyway....
