I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE FOR THIS TYPE OF THREAD!!
I need to explain the situation before asking the question. I had to borrow 35k to get my Moms living expenses, medical bills and medication back on track cause she got sick from not taking her medicine because she couldn't afford her medication and some of her high medical bills. Being the older generation she never said a thing to her kids till it was way out of control. Anyway she recently passed away and I want to pay the loan back asap. I have a steady cpa stream of $100 a month and it is already scaled up. To be honest I can't fix stupid!! I took out an high interest loan and the payments are around $2000 a month. I was considering blackhat methods or the hidden web selling shit (you know what I mean) anything illegal. But I can't do that. I am open to suggestions what to do next. I am max out on credit keeping the payments up. I am working I have a full time job but with my own bills I not going to be able to make the payment in August on. I wanted to ask you guys for suggestions I respect this group a lot and the majority of you are killing it from working your asses off. I work better with another person to bounce ideas off, but at this point I cant pay someone for coaching. It's okay to tell me to F@#K off I will not hold it against you. I am just at the end of the rope and need direction from someone better than me.
I will be completely straight forward with you. Of course this is what worked for me, and it's definitely not the only way. Warning, my answer will be extremely vague for obvious reasons which I will touch on...sort of.
PS - To be perfectly honest I don't know how to make money without investing money, but then again my forte these days is advertising.
I came to Black Hat Forums about 3 years ago with very limited knowledge on Internet Marketing. I already knew web design and White Hat SEO, but the competition in Los Angeles is cut throat. So I wound up here and another place. I spent probably the first 8 months struggling with a hopeless and worthless addiction....the addiction of "Shiny Object Syndrome". For 8 months, give or take, I filled up my hard drive with any [GET] I could even somewhat comprehend. Once in awhile I would d.ick around with a tool, or skim through the first couple pages of a WSO PDF before shrugging it off and jump back into my quest of filling up a hard drive space, convincing myself I would somehow magically take the time to use everything I downloaded and make it big. This went on for almost a year. A Year spent looking for the next best thing, when I could have easily made "some" money using one of those methods I had collecting dust in my F drive. Though I could blame a lot of that on the fact I have ADD.
Eventually, I wised up and decided to actually somewhat try to learn something and apply it. This went well and was a good learning experience. While about 90% of the methods (mostly WF BS) were absolutely worthless and time wasted, I learned how to BS for what it was and not bother looking at it. I also learned about 10% of what I tried to monetize from stuff I found on here actually did work, and made a little bit of cash. Unfortunately it turns out that when some "Secret" method (that actually works) is shared on here or elsewhere, it will be used by thousands of other marketers in the same bout, as soon as its shared. Thus, over saturating the market and turning the simple method to make good money a very challenging and difficult method (due to competition) to make very little money. I know this is not always the case, and maybe I was just unlucky, but thats how it went for me.
Now, I am doing very well for myself (not rich, but becoming financially stable and almost comfortable), and turning more profit than I have ever in my life. The trick is to be innovative. I'm not saying invent your own 100% original method, but use the knowledge you have of CPA or other Marketing Niches, and try to add your own twist to it, do something others are not yet doing. I know that might sound silly, or maybe impossible since, but I can promise it's not as difficult as one would think. Most marketers do what they have learned from others, or courses, and rarely experiment to find a niche with less competition.
At first I was taking methods that were difficult and less used...for example I did a fairly successful stint with Craigslist last year. I was successful with it because A.) Due to the difficulties of getting posts to stick, not many people bother Spamming CL as much as they did in past, and B.) I did my own thing, I was using CLAD Genius, but in a way not many others were, and promoting different offers. Most will fire up CLAD and just start hammering out crap, Spammy posts for Cam Workers and Payday Loans, churn and burn through PVA's like they are nothing. I took full advantage of the software and set it up to make my PVA's mimic human behavior as best as I possibly could, and promoted different CPA offers like Focus Group Studies, Promoting agencies looking for Background Actors, Medical Trials for Hospitals, (I live in Los Angeles lol, obviously) etc. Stuff you don't normally see in CPA sites, so I would go directly to the businesses or hospitals websites and email them about Affiliate programs. Once I found what worked, I would multiply it by running CLAD on 4 of my laptops. Eventually it grew tiresome, Craigslist made some updates which made things more difficult to hit, and my primary CL PVA creator vanished, so I decided to make a change. I have since moved on from that and started doing another popular niche, in my own innovative way...and its bringing in Good cash..d*** good cash. While I know there are many methods that are profitable, So far the only GOOD money I have made is by being creative and doing something unique.
I apologize if that isn't what you are looking for, but given you know CPA I am willing to bet you are an intelligent person, so just experiment a bit with new ideas, even if they sound like silly ones. You might surprise yourself with what you can be capable of...but if you do find a working method, don't sell it or share it...keep it to yourself and multiply it. A silly idea for marketing to an extremely small demographic with zero competition can absolutely be more profitable, and less stressful, than a great idea with a massive demographic that has been saturated by thousands of marketers doing the same. Again, I apologize if it's not what you were looking for, I do hope it's somewhat helpful.
Depending on your total situation, at least in the U.S., I would consider filing bankruptcy.
Malice your reply was awesome and thank for taking the time to respond.
Sorry to hear, Slammin6. Owing money can be a real energy grave and I´d recommend you to seek a solution with the people you owe money. I mean, you probably won´t be able to raise a whole lot of money in a short period of time with internet marketing, just because you have to invest some time and money to get things started. We all make mistakes and if you are in a situation where you don´t have the necessary time to make mistakes, it´s problematic. I was in a very similar situation when I ended up having 50k debts from my parents business and I was only able to get my head out of the rope by constantly talking to the banks, insurances, and everyone else I or my parents owed money to. Try to negotiate some conditions that enable you to pay this back. You can tell them that you might be forced to fight bankruptcy if you are not able to find a rate that is actually realistic. Everyone who buys debts knows that someone who is actually paying back the debts (even if it´s just little by little) is better than someone who is bankrupt. Do not make the mistake to ignore letters because that´s usually the stuff that turns into the costs going up.
And if you were able to negotiate a monthly rate (like 200 for example), then try to build profitable websites. Like, make sure to create quality content because that gives you the security that your website wont be killed by a google update. And start building a list right from the beginning and treat it well. Only promote offers that are of interest for your subsribers and you´ll probably be able to pay that debt back in a couple years.
And keep your head up. That´s really important because negativity and I-Can´t-Thinking will probably break your neck, so you have to stay positive. Just try to look at it at a larger scale. There are people all across the world who once owed some money and in 50-100 years, no one cares about it anymore. There´s no easy way out but you can and will get through this!
Zeitgeist thank you for the response I will keep positive no doubt. Filling bankruptcy is not an option for me. I borrowed the money therefore I owe it. This forum is awesome and I am humble to be amoung awesome talent and wisdom.
Thanks again to all that responded.
Malice, your reply was spot-on!
