download from link below then directly import this into your database. follow steps mentioned in first post 1. edit htacces 2edit database file. Everything works like a charm.

Same as normal Steps to install
[code]Step 1, dump freelancer-24-6-14-update.sql into database
Step 2, unzip freelancer folder in to root or sub domain
Step 3 edit .htaccess "RewriteBase /"
Step 4 edit application/config/database.php

$db['default']['hostname'] = 'localhost';
$db['default']['username'] = 'root';
$db['default']['password'] = '';
$db['default']['database'] = '';

Step 5 login detials:
username:# admin OR admin@admin.com
password:= admin
