Hi,

I am a newbie at Amazon affiliate webites. I was planning to start an Amazon website on a double baby stroller keyword but realized that the market is full of this keyword. This keyword was suggested by a friend of mine and flippa listing.

Unfortunately, I no longer wish to go for this keyword and since I am new at research I am finidng it pretty difficult to find a new niche. What should be the criteria for selecting the niche? I have following parameters in mind and I am sure everyone is looking at these parameters

Niche:
Keywords: Product reviews, best product, top product
Search volume: 2000+ for any of the aforementioned keyword
Product price: $50 to be on a safer side
Product reviews: Minimum 15 reviews
Competitors: I use ahrefs.com, openlinkprofiler.org to check backlnks and decide whether the niche is competitive or not

Am I missing something here? Would you like to add or edit above parameters while starting an Amazon affiliate website?
You can keep the niche, just try go for another word/s in the niche.
Example: "cheapest double strollers"

Good luck!
"Baby strollers best reviews", for example too....
You know the long tail keywords technique is fundamental to your Amazon affiliate online success. Long tail keywords strategy may sound like a tricky marketing term initially, but actually all that “long tail” really refers to is the length of the keyword and nothing else. Google still likes long tail keywords. They get indexed pretty fast. Here are some good articles about this strategy - AmazonAffiliate.club.
Good luck!!
Thanks a ton for the ideas. Indeed, I am going to try lots of long tail keywords. I was referring to the "parameters" to select Amazon niche instead of long tail keywords.

I am looking for a help to find out the profitable niche.
