Wouldn't trust anything Chris Record puts out. He launches one product after another and provides zero zilch nada updates on his products, especially his software products. i bought his dark post profits a while back and he never added many modules that he talked about on his sales page. Chris Record is very interested in getting your money and very uninterested in completing the products that he sells you on. He's a disgraceful marketer who tells you all of the things that you get with your purchase on his sales page but he never finishes creating the products that he promises on his sales page. Trusting Chris Record with the software to run your membership site would be business suicide based on my first hand purchasing experience with this huckster.....and truthfully calling him a huckster is an insult to hucksters. I'm very surprised that the Feds haven't caught up with him yet but I suspect they will very soon.
Even if you manage to get his software it would be utter insanity to trust his software for your membership site. For something as important as membership software go with a real company that really supports their stuff like wishlist. Don't trust your membership software to someone who's a marketer who has no long range interest in their software. For software, go with a real software company not a snake oil salesmen. The thing that is the worst about chris record is that he often talks about his special needs son in his sales videos. It's fine if you want to discuss your son's autism but then you should at least provide the products you promise on your sales page. Using your son's condition on your sales page but then not providing the things you promise on your sales page is exploiting your son's condition. If you know you're going to rip people off, leave your son out of it because it hurts honest people when they try to raise money for important causes such as autism. Chris Record is truly the lowest of the low to exploit his son's autism to get your money and then not finish the products that he sells you on. If i were a betting man I'd say the Feds will be contacting him really soon.
and as it just so happens, I AM a betting man.

There are a couple of other things that are troublesome about Smart Member:
1. Chris offers no trials, or monthly or annual subscription options. It is a one time flat fee of $497.00 for a lifetime membership. If the product is that good, or will be that good, then shouldn't those options be available?
2. Why do you need to login to a facebook account to access it? Why not just the standard login page? Granted, many people have facebook accounts, but if you didn't you'd have to create one just for this membership!
