A little tip about your app problems. The authors provided a sample app id and secret key to use shared here, which is a temp. fix.
In case you face similar problems with other tools like this one that require you to make an app (or in case the developers of SLF decide to delete their sample app) you should always:
Go to your app's page on fb [developes.facebook.com]
Open Settings tab
Click advanced tab
Scroll down to "OAuth Settings", and make sure option "Client OAuth Login" is turned to "yes"
A lot of these messages come from this option.
