It can be tricky on some sites. On zippy and solidfiles you have to keep hitting the download button till the correct file comes up.
On zippy it a big orange download button, click that and a few popup pages will usually show. delete the popup pages and go back to download page with orange button and click it again, more popup pages may show or the download box will show with the correct file name and extension... ie .pdf .rar .zip etc.
On solidfiles it's a blue button. If you know it's not suppose to be an .exe file, then delete the box and hit blue button again and again till a new box come that says if you have a problem downloading the file click here. The word "here" will be the link to the correct file.
They just trying to make some extra money on a pay per download file which usually at best will be adware or at worst lots of malware/viruses.
Gimme some time and I'll make a new mirror.
