this is exact reason i tried and stopped sharing here.
i was going to share some good stuff people are crying for a long time.
but as soon as i started doing it, links were copied and shared, and people started collecting reps (some of them collected over 1'00 reps doing it here, not only my stuff of course).
so i quit altogether as you say now.

I think if you ever intended to share in the first place you would have more than 7 reps in the 2 years here you've been a member.

Another thing I think is that requiring people to pm you for access and for the password is inadvertently rep whoring. Because newbies or users who don't contribute to BBHF will rep to gain favor from you to get access.
