thanks for sharing mate. it installed and says activated from Settings --> Thrive content builder. When you open your page to edit it shows the addon "edit with thrive" but it does not pop up the right side bar which contains whole bunch of thrive options.
any idea what i am doing wrong?

I found once i DELETED visual composer or atleast deactivate it that it worked for me, maybe another plugin such as google maps is clashing try deleting all your plugins apart from thrive and activating one at a time, do not forget to clear cache... if you do have visual composer installed deactivate that first and try again.

i deactivated visual composer and activated thrive. status is still same icedsoul. please help!
Just an update to share with you guys. I hope you will find it useful. I deleted my entire wordpress site (was v new site) and deleted all the sql databases and reinstalled wordpress.
Then I uploaded .zip file of thrive old version 1.79 and activated. then a message box appeared to activate the license and I hit the link and its activated saying " your thrive is activated. enjoy ;) " and then i updated the plugin and its working just fine :)
